We are currently seeking a multi-skilled Designer/Product Developer to join a growing fashion business. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and technically skilled individual to contribute to the full lifecycle of product development—from initial concept through to sampling and production.

Working closely with the Creative Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing collections that are trend-aware, high quality, and aligned with the brand’s timeless and responsible approach to fashion.

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to design and develop seasonal collections that align with brand direction and market trends.
- Create comprehensive tech packs including construction, fabric, trims, grading, and workmanship details for supplier handover.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure accurate development and timely delivery.
- Organise and manage fit sessions, compile feedback, and update tech packs accordingly.
- Oversee sampling and production processes, ensuring alignment with critical path deadlines.
- Source new fabrics, trims, and sustainable materials in line with product innovation goals.
- Monitor quality, fit consistency, grading standards, and compliance across all stages of development.
- Manage SMS and photoshoot samples, and review product feedback from internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers to achieve margin goals while maintaining product standards.
REQUIREMENTS +
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Design or Product Development role.
- Relevant qualification in Fashion Design, Product Development, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, specifications, and grading.
- High attention to detail with strong technical ability in Adobe Illustrator and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and supplier relationship management skills.
- A proactive problem-solver with a positive, collaborative mindset.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
