Established nearly 10 years ago, our client has made a name for themselves in the modelling and creative industry. Representing a diverse range of talent, our client works with local and international brands, while maintaining a 'boutique' feel and personalised approach. 

As a Talent Manager you will be responsible for managing a roster of models & creators, ensuring their career growth, and cultivating strong relationships with clients and industry professionals. You will oversee the daily operations of the talent division, with 1-2 junior team members reporting into you. Our client has a collaborative, fun and vibrant company culture, and it's important for all team members to possess the same qualities. 

Location: Surry Hills

Working arrangements: 1 day WFH

Salary: $100-$120k + super + bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • Oversee the career progression of assigned models, providing feedback and ensuring alignment with their goals.
  • Source new talent, conduct casting calls, and represent the agency at talent scouting events.
  • Collaborate with marketing and bookings teams to place talent in appropriate jobs.
  • Supervise and mentor 1-2 junior talent agents, offering guidance and support.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, negotiate contracts, and manage bookings.
  • Track model contracts, bookings, and payments, while assisting in strategy development to increase agency visibility.

REQUIREMENTS +

  • Proven experience in a talent management role position ideally in an agency (5+ years of experience)
  • Strong understanding of the modelling industry and its dynamics
  • Experience leading a team with the ability to train staff of all levels
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and nurture relationships
  • Experience scouting talent, negotiating pricing and contracts, and relationship management
  • Experience using social media for scouting and developing campaigns
  • Proficiency with office and talent management software
