RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Conduct detailed analysis of weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales data to create effective Sales Plans
- Oversee budgets and develop financial plans for upcoming seasons
- Attend brand meetings, appointments, and events to stay informed and engaged
- Build and nurture strong relationships with brand partners
- Negotiate confidently with brands to secure favorable terms
- Collaborate with selected brand partners to brief, develop, and produce exclusive product assortments
- Stay updated on emerging brands, trends, and opportunities to diversify the department and enhance sales performance
- Prepare and present product ranges for approval with the General Manager of Buying
- Execute in-season markdown strategies and manage the future orderbook proactively
- Lead, mentor, and support the development of Assistant Buyers
- Achieving the Department's Sales Plan targets
- Driving year-on-year increases in sales revenue within the department
- Improving sales density season over season
- Reducing markdown percentages and aged stock levels compared to previous seasons
REQUIREMENTS +
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with an international brand, preferably in a multi-brand environment
- Prior experience in womenswear apparel is highly advantageous
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functions
- Valid driver’s license for attending brand appointments and conducting store visits (desirable)
