About the Role

As a Product Assistant, you’ll play a key role in bringing our licensed merchandise to life. From managing product submissions and approvals to collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, you’ll be at the heart of the product development process. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about brands, products, and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the backend administration of licensed merchandise submissions and approvals.

  2. Maintain product development trackers and ensure accurate, timely updates.

  3. Prepare and dispatch merchandise samples for reviews.

  4. Collaborate with licensors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

  5. Assist in creating PowerPoint sales presentations and costing sheets.

  6. Manage product data uploads on online portals and ensure website consistency.

  7. Support visual merchandising efforts for showrooms and exhibitions.

  8. Organise and maintain product samples in a WIP room for easy access.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with a proactive attitude and a passion for licensed merchandise. Ideal candidates will have:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or product development (preferably in hard goods, apparel, or homewares).

  • Exposure to sales and administration processes.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • A flair for creativity and a problem-solving mindset.

  • Proficiency in software like Apparel 21, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
