About the role
The Head of Retail for a global fashion brand is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving the success of retail operations across Australia and New Zealand. This role encompasses setting and achieving retail budgets, managing P&L, overseeing store operations, and leading teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The Head of Retail will implement and enhance loyalty programs, manage store traffic, and collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless inventory management and visual merchandising that aligns with the brand's identity. This role requires a dynamic leader with a global perspective, strong financial insight, and a passion for fashion retail.
About You
To excel in this role, you must be a dynamic leader with a global perspective, strong financial understanding, and a passion for fashion retail.
You should have a bachelor's degree in business administration, Retail Management, Fashion Management, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
With at least 10 years of experience in retail management, including 5 years in a senior leadership role within the fashion industry, you have demonstrated success in managing retail operations and achieving financial targets.
Your strong leadership skills inspire and lead diverse teams across multiple regions.
You possess excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities and have proven experience in visual merchandising and loyalty program management.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment and adapt to changing market conditions
