About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Designer to join their dynamic team. This role is at the forefront of accessory and bag design, where you’ll collaborate with internal teams, buying groups, and international suppliers to create collections that are both on-trend and commercially successful. Your creativity and strategic vision will drive product development and contribute to the success of some of the country’s biggest retail names.
What You’ll Do:
Develop seasonal product ranges that align with brand vision, pricing strategies, and target margins.
Collaborate closely with buying teams to ensure products resonate with market demands.
Manage supplier communication, ensuring design concepts and technical specifications are effectively conveyed.
Oversee sample development, delivery timelines, and customer WIPs documents.
Ensure accuracy and quality in packaging and labelling.
Present detailed design briefs, creative concepts, and trend analysis to stakeholders.
Conduct store visits and competitive shopping to stay ahead of industry trends.
Build strong partnerships across internal teams and actively participate in client meetings.
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience in a design role, ideally within accessories or bags, with a strong understanding of the wholesale fashion landscape.
A keen eye for design trends combined with the ability to meet commercial objectives.
Experience collaborating with international suppliers and managing product development processes.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel.
Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to design and production challenges.
A genuine passion for fashion and design, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
