About the Role

As the Garment Technician, you’ll work closely with designers and the Head of Buying and Production to ensure each piece meets our exacting quality standards. This role is pivotal, bringing seasonal collections to life and ensuring each garment reflects our client's quality and design vision. From tech pack creation to fit sessions, your technical expertise will drive the garment’s journey from concept to reality. This part-time position is based on-site three days per week, with the possibility of extending to four days during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tech Pack Creation: Develop detailed tech packs that capture the designer's vision for fit, construction, and styling.

  • Fit Sessions: Lead and manage fit sessions, providing technical guidance to ensure efficient, high-quality outcomes.

  • Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to oversee fit, grading, and construction, ensuring each garment meets high standards of craftsmanship and durability.

  • Production Support: Coordinate key production timelines by managing style pack updates, tracking fabric and trim status, and monitoring lab-dip and wash results.

  • Supplier Liaison: Provide clear, concise communication to suppliers, ensuring the final product is consistent with design intent and meets our client’s specifications.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced retail setting, with offshore production experience.

  • Relevant qualifications in Fashion or Textile Design, with strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, grading, and quality assurance.

  • Pattern-making skills are highly regarded.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator.

  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset, with effective time management skills.
