My client is looking for a Garment Technician to join their team.
My client is keeping the pool of talent wide, and whilst based on the Gold Coast they open to candidates relocating from interstate. RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Review and analyse technical specifications and samples.
- Conduct fittings and make adjustments based on fit assessments.
- Collaborate with designers to refine patterns and construction details.
- Oversee the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to garment construction.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all samples and modifications.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
REQUIREMENTS +
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Garment Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and fabrics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
