ABOUT THE ROLE:
My client is looking for multiple Product Developers to join their growing team. You will support the design business functions ensuring that the product is developed and viable for production in line with the brand requirements. You will be across critical path management, garment construction, fit sessions, materials and really end to end product lifecycle.
My client is keeping the pool of talent wide, and whilst based on the Gold Coast they open to candidates relocating from interstate. RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Support the Design business functions, ensuring product is developed and viable for production in line with brand requirements
- Critical path management
- Organised and high attention to detail
- Strong understanding and experience in creating / checking / approving garment specs and well as grading
- Accurately measuring and assessing styles
- Attending fits and processing all fit comments
- Advising in garment construction and material viability
- Sourcing materials and developing with suppliers, preferably China based vendors
- End to end product lifecycle and costing understanding
