RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Develop product strategy across an assortment of categories in alignment with a comprehensive market analysis
- Be a driver in the brand strategy with considerations to target market and overall business goals
- Manage relationships with suppliers both domestically and internationally being across price negotiation and contracts
- Product design and development working closely alongside quality control teams
- Reporting and analysis to monitor inventory, stock levels and reviewing pricing strategies to drive maximum profitability
- Team leadership acting a mentor for the category assistants and influencing a high performance team environment.
REQUIREMENTS +
- 5+ years in a category manager role with an understanding of product development
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Batchelor Degree in Business or Retail (desirable)
- Experience in Equestrian goods or related industries (desirable)
- Exceptional communication skills, high attention to detail and highly analytical
