Our client is a Global Fashion company stocking over 20 brands across 70 countries worldwide. They are looking for an Accounting & Performance Manager to join the Finance Team and report into the Finance Manager. This is a role focused on Finance Controlling and so an understanding of the flow of all areas in Finance is integral. If you are a Senior Accountant or similar, and looking for the next step in your career, this would be ideal!
Location: Sydney – free parking available onsite and close to public transport
Salary: $100-$110k + super

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Ensure execution of finance goals and projects to support business growth
- Ensure financial processes and procedures are compliant with internal controls and external reporting requirements
- Create, implement and manage accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficient financial reporting
- Perform profitability analysis and negotiate contracts with Wholesale customers
- Assist the team in preparing financial statements, annual budgets, forecasting, monitoring and more
- Manage AR & AP, and look after month and year end close processes for legal entity at GL, AR & AP levels
- Liaise with tax advisors to ensure tax compliance
- Develop long term strategies that align with the company goals and results in improvements in financial performance
REQUIREMENTS +
- Bachelor qualification and CPA or IPA certified
- If no formal qualification then at least 5 years of relevant employment experience
- Proven experience in a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager role with a target driven organisation
- Experience with SAP systems
- Similar experience with a global company is highly regarded
- The ability to develop strong relationships across the organisation and communicate effectively at all areas
